Protocol regarding to the Coronavirus

Unfortunately, the Coronavirus has also made its entrance in Europe, which brought the first questions about cancellations coming in from various parties. Internally, the necessary precautions were taken immediately. From the VDC (Van der Valk Service Centre) a protocol (which you can ) was drawn up with regard to dealing with cancellations, for both individual and group bookings, in relation to the Coronavirus. 

To avoid any misunderstandings, we would like to mention that the Coronavirus does not fall under Force Majeure, with the exception of guests coming from areas which, because of the Coronavirus, are subject to a travel ban. Consult this link to check whether you are in an area of application or not.

As a family business, Van der Valk gives the highest priority to the health, safety and well-being of our guests and employees and takes appropriate measures.

We naturally hope that this will help prevent further spread of the Corona virus. Our family business has been an important meeting place in our society for many decades. Many social networks are established within our branches and are maintained there. The steps we are taking now therefore feel as unreal and have long been seen as unthinkable. However, in these exceptional circumstances, there is no other choice.
